Otherwise known as The Family CD Release Event!!My daughter, Maddy Ruff released her CD, “Don’t Fall” with a concert at 8:00pm on The Iridium stage. Husband, Ray Marchica, and I hit the stage with our band-Don Rebic, Jeff Ganz and Sean Harkness at 10:00pm. My CD “With A Song” will be available on CDBaby, itunes and elsewhere by the end of next week. I will post the specifics soon. Will also keep you posted on the next performance dates. Madison Theatre presents “An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein: A Tribute to Joan Roberts”. (In association with South Shore Theatricals) Proceeds will help fund a scholarship fund for vocal performance majors at Molloy College.
Featuring Stars from Broadway, TV and Film…with the COS orchestra.

South Shore Theatricals wishes to dedicate its premiere production, “An Evening of Rodgers & Hammerstein,” produced in cooperation with the Madison Theatre at Molloy College, as a tribute to our late board member and advisor Joan Roberts, a strong supporter of the performing arts on Long Island, and Molloy College in particular, helping to raise the funds that built the Hays Theater. We will perform this tribute on May 25 at the Madison Theater at Molloy College.
Joan Roberts spent the latter part of her life supporting theatre here on Long Island. She was particularly noted for giving performers from Long Island great encouragement in furthering their theatrical pursuits. Joan was also “The original ‘Laurey’” from “Oklahoma!”

As the winter holidays approach I think of friends, family and music, always music! I associate this song with this time of year and my friend Chuck Cooper. Yes, that handsome, sweet Tony Award winner, and avid fisherman, Chuck Cooper.
